Capital of Children Company organizes a guided tour on the Company Town

The new route in Billund is named "The Company Town Route". The Danish Ministry of Culture and the Triangle Region of Denmark have launched the Company Town project - which narrates the story of Billund as a Company Town. Company Town is an historical tour, telling the story of Billund and the LEGO Group over the last 80 years. At children's and adult levels, the route passes both Løvehuset (the Lions' House) and Knophuset (the Stud House) on Hovedgaden and covers a distance of 3½ kilometres around the Capital of Children.

The glazed 'footprints' along the route are produced by local children. The historical tour of Billund is a fun and educational activity for children and adults alike and as much for local people as for people visiting Capital of Children.

Further information about the Company Town, including map of the trail, can be found at www.companytown.dk
